Oslo Open

Participated in Oslo Open with my studio in Kabelgata, Oslo, Norway, as part of my residency with SafeMuse. The event opened the studio to the public and invited visitors into my working space to encounter my practice in process.

 

Presented an ongoing installation still under development, offering insight into the material, spatial, and conceptual direction of the work as it was taking shape. The installation reflected my continued interest in form, tension, repetition, and the emotional and political dimensions carried by materials.

 

Alongside the installation, I showed a selection of paintings produced during my residency with SafeMuse. These works extended key concerns within my practice, including identity, memory, gender, and the social pressures that shape individual and collective experience.

 

The studio presentation created an opportunity to share not only finished works, but also the process behind them—inviting conversation around making, experimentation, and the evolving relationship between installation, painting, and lived experience.
